My name is Fredrik Broms and I live on Kvaløya close to Tromsø in Northern Norway, where I work as a freelance Nature Photographer and Marine Biologist.
As a photographer, I have specialised on Auroras, Landscape Astrophotography and Nordic Wildlife Photography. I also combine my photography with research through e.g. scientific photo-identification of marine mammals, environmental monitoring and documentary photography.
I have long experience working as a marine biologist at different universities, institutes and research centers/vessels in the Nordic countries and in the European Arctic.
I also write research articles, popular science articles, reports for environmental monitoring and I currently work on several book projects. In addition to prints, post-cards and other image-products, I also give slide-shows and various presentations, exhibitions and I have long experience as a wildlife guide.
